Overview and Experience

Mr. Wasif Iqbal joined the firm in 2004 and ever since then has been an integral part of the firm. He currently heads the Sales Tax division of the firm and is the go to person for any updates, amendments and or opinions in the taxation industry in general and the sales tax field in particular owing to his exemplary and unparalleled understanding of the taxation laws, its amendments and any all governmental directives.

Mr. Wasif is currently responsible for representing our esteemed clients before the Federal Board of Revenue and the Sindh Revenue Board is known for his tax acumen, his logical reasoning and his ability to effectively safeguard the rights of our clients before the federal and provincial departments. Mr. Wasif to his credit has helped settle a number of contentious taxation matters at the tribunal stage.

In addition to his professional capabilities, he is someone who believes in using his time constructively. As a result of which, he currently is a member of Junior Chamber International, a worldwide federation of young leaders and entrepreneurs. He served his local chapter JCI Paragon as President in 2004 and became the President of JCI Pakistan in the year 2009. He has been graduated from the 21st JCI Academy, Tachikawa Japan. He also represented Pakistan in Leadership summit held in Tokyo Japan in 2007, JCI World Congress in New Dehli in 2008 and Asia Pacific Conference in Nagano Japan in 2009.
